About Jerusalem Stone

Our Story

Jerusalem Stone was born and raised in New Orleans but is named after the founders’ hometown, Jerusalem.

We specialize in custom stone countertops and are now located in the heart of Metairie. We started in 2016 when the founders, Ibrahim Ayyad and Thaer Hamed, started the business working from the back of a 1995 E-250 van, carrying and cutting slabs of marble in front of clients’ houses.

Because of our humble beginnings, we continue to put our heart and soul into each project. We want people to recognize the amount of dedication and passion involved with their artistic designs for their homes.

The search for new custom stone countertops may seem daunting to many, but we are here to guide you and provide the best support through this process to make your visions become a reality. We're transparent, and so is our quality of work.
